What Is A Pressure Tank?

A pressure tank (or pressure vessel) is a metal container that can vary in size from 1 L to 3000L. Inside the tank, there is a rubber diaphragm that separates the water room and air room.

How does A Pressure Tank work inside a Pump System?
When the tap shuts, then the water stops flowing and the pressure in the system builds. When the pressure reaches the “off” setting of the switch or controller, then this turns the pump off and the pipes remain pressurized.
