NSF/ANSI 61 ensures that your product meets the regulatory requirements for the U.S. and Canada, and it can often meet or fulfill the testing requirements for many other countries as well. Market leaders strive to attain NSF certification as a mark of distinction that provides their customers with assurance that their product is safe for use in drinking water. NSF/ANSI 61 testing covers all products with drinking water contact from source to tap,
and determines what contaminants may migrate or leach from your product into drinking water. It also confirms if they are below the maximum levels allowed to be considered safe.

NSF/ANSI 372 Drinking Water System Components - Lead Content

NSF/ANSI 372 Drinking Water System Components - Lead Content

NSF/ANSI 372 establishes limits on the amount of lead that may be present in water contact materials within drinking water system components. This standard specifies that a product must be certified as meeting a weighted average lead content of ≤0.25% when it comes to the wetted surfaces of pipes, pipe fittings, plumbing fittings, and plumbing fixtures. This requirement ensures that these components do not contribute harmful levels of lead to drinking water, helping to protect public health, especially in the context of water used for drinking and cooking.
