Stainless steel 304 is an austenitic grade that can be severely deep drawn. This property has resulted in 304 being the dominant grade used in applications like sinks and saucepans.

[Excellent Corrosion Resistance]

Grade 304 stainless steel is excellent in a wide range of atmospheric environments and many corrosive media. It is subject to pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments, and to stress corrosion cracking above 60 °C (approximate). Grade 304 is considered to be resistant to potable water up to approximately 200 mg/L chlorides at ambient temperatures, reducing to approximately150 mg/L at 60 °C.

There are three types of connectors used on Pumplus pressures tanks. First is the male straight connector on the small size tank and the horizontal tank. The second one is a similar version of the male connector but the connector has a reinforcing plate. The reinforced plate increases the welding circumference which adds an extra 50% of strength to the connector welding area. The three one is the elbow female connector. The elbow attaches to the medium size and large size tank which the connector has an opening on the side to help the installer to put the pipe easily.

There are 80% of other type o pressure tank are using casing iron with plating connector, but Aquasky believes that our customer deserves to use the best product for their family or the people they care about. Aquasky ONLY uses pure 304 Stainless Steel.
