The pressure switch is one of the most commonly used fluid control components. When we are dealing with gas or liquid, we all need to control its pressure. We take the pressure switch as a safety device. When the pressure reaches the rated value, the pressure switch can send out an Alarm or control signal.
In water equipment systems, the most common type is mechanical pressure switches, which are composed of pressure-sensitive elements such as diaphragms or springs and mechanical electric shock switches. There are many different types of pressure-sensitive components, but they have one thing in common: they respond to changes in system pressure and make mechanical displacement.
When the pressure in the system is higher or lower than the rated safety pressure, the sensitive element moves instantaneously. The switch joint is turned on or off through the connecting guide rod. When the pressure drops or rises to the rated recovery value, the diaphragm instantly resets. The switch automatically resets, or simply be described as the measured pressure exceeds the rated value, the free end of the elastic element is displaced, and the switch element is pushed directly or after comparison to change the on-off state of the switch element to get the goal of control the measured pressure.
There are many types of pressure switches on the market, and the price difference is quite large. Generally, we would recommend customers from the allowable error of the pressure switch (the smaller the better), the repeatability (the higher the better), and the response speed (the faster the better) and the maximum withstand voltage and other specifications for product review, in order to truly choose the product that meets your needs.
