What is a Pressure Tank used for?

Pressure tank is the general name for a vessel that is able to contain pressure liquid or gas. Base on the different applications the industries give them different names.

 

For Pressure Water Booster application, the industry names it Well Tank or Sanitary Water tank. The purpose is to supply a good amount of water to stabilize the system's water pressure. Aquasky names PUMPLUS.

For Water Heater Application, the industry names it Thermal Expansion Tank. The purpose is to absorb the expansion water volume creating by the temperature change of water to protect the whole system. Aquasky names THERMAL-PLUS.

 

 

For Hydronic Heating Application, the industry names it Hydronic Heating Tank. Hydronic Heating system is a very commend heating system for the house wall and the floor. In the system, the thermal liquid is the key point of heat transfer. The thermal liquid is mixing with water and glycol. The liquid state temperature range is -20 to 150 degree C. With the temperature change, the liquid volume changes and creates extra hydronic pressure. The hydronic heating tank can absorb the pressure to protect the whole system. Aquasky names HYDRO-PLUS.

 

For Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System Application, the industry names it RO storage Tank. The purpose is to store the drinking water after filtration. The filtration process takes a long period of time, so the storage tank can storage a good amount of water for immediate usage. Aquasky names RO-PLUS.
