AQUASKY Container Lands on Gujarat Beach, India - an Unplanned Demonstration of Durability |Aquasky

In July 2025, one of AQUASKY’s shipping container en route from Hong Kong to Jebel Ali Port in Dubai was unexpectedly found on the coast of Gujarat, India. Inside were 350 units of AQUASKY PLUS air pressure tanks, all in flawless condition: no dents, no rust, and no surface damage - after drifting in the Indian Ocean for nearly a month. This rare and remarkable outcome speaks volumes about Aquasky product’s resilience.

Just days earlier, the global shipping industry was reminded of the risks of maritime transport when 50 containers from the Evergreen Marine vessel Ever Lunar fell overboard off the coast of Peru. Many of those containers ruptured, spilling cargo into the sea near the Port of Callao. The resulting debris highlighted a truth no company wants to face - products adrift, damaged, or destroyed at sea.

Unfortunately, this global reality reached us as well. For the first time in our operational history, AQUASKY experienced a maritime shipping incident. On the morning of July 13, fishermen from Lati village in Gir-Somnath district spotted a shipping container drifting toward shore. By noon, high tide had brought it fully onto the beach. The local community quickly alerted the Marine Police and in swift coordination, multiple agencies including the Customs Department, Indian Coast Guard, and Intelligence Bureau arrived to secure the site.

Upon inspection, officials found cartons containing the AQUASKY PLUS tanks. While the outer cartons were damp from prolonged sea exposure, the tanks themselves were exactly as they had left our factory - no dents, no rust, no surface damage, and no structural compromise. Even after a month in open-sea exposure conditions - crashing waves, saltwater immersion, and temperature fluctuations - the AQUASKY PLUS tanks looked brand new, with their protective coating completely intact. It’s often said that “the proof is in the pudding” - and in this case, the product has truly spoken for itself.

Shipping records show this container was loaded on June 5th, with a scheduled delivery to Dubai on June 26th. Somewhere along the route, it fell overboard and drifted undisturbed across the Indian Ocean until it reached Indian coast on July 13th. While the exact time and cause of the incident remain under investigation, what is certain is the outstanding performance of packaging and product quality.

This incident was more than an operational challenge - it became a vivid demonstration of our product’s resilience and the strength of our packaging design. At AQUASKY, we design more than just tanks - we build trust. And even when nature tests us, our products stand strong.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the fishermen of Lati village who discovered the container, the Sutrapada police, the Special Operations Group, and the Customs and Coast Guard officers for informing us about the fallen container and for their swift and professional response. Their actions protected valuable industrial equipment and helped ensure safety along the coastline.
